UKCA Marking for Construction Testing

4ward Testing is a UK Approved body for the testing of sealants to BS EN 15651 1-4:2012 and Tile Adhesives to BS EN 12004:2007+A1:2012 for the new UKCA mark.

Type Testing under AVCP3 is required to be carried out by an EU NB for CE Marking and a UK AB for UKCA marking. We are currently not allowed to re-issue AVCP3 reports from an EU NB, as this is not acceptable by our National Accreditation Body in the UK, and many of those in the EU Member States.

CE marked sealants and adhesives will be required to have UKCA marking from 1st January 2022 (assuming the legislation to cease recognition of valid CE marks is completed in 2021).
