Standard: ASTM D1894 Coefficient of Friction

This test standard specifies the test conditions for determining the coefficients of friction of plastic film and sheeting when sliding over itself or other substances. The specimen shape is square or rectangular film (depending on where it is attached). A moving sled of a known weight is pulled against a stationary plane.
