Ingress Protection Tests - 4ward Testing - Product technical testing

Ingress Protection Marking, classifies and rates the degree of protection provided by mechanical casings and electoral enclosures against the intrusion of solid bodies and or a liquid ie, dust, accidental contact, chemicals and water.  This will demonstrate a products safety, functionality, longevity, and marketing strength.

The IP Code, International Protection Marking, IEC standard 60529, classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against intrusion. The equivalent European standard is EN 60529:1992+A2:2013 which we commonly use, among other specifications; this contains the criteria to assess equipment to its appropriate IP code. We are also able to offer environmental testing to determine durability and ageing of products.
