BS EN 15651 1-5:2017 and BS EN 12004 1-2:2017

The BS EN 15651 1-5:2017 and BS EN 12004 1-2:2017 are still being harmonised, and we await confirmation of their approval in the OJEU (Official Journal of the European Union). There are minor changes and improvements in these specifications which ensure procedures are clearer and diminish any ambiguity over performance requirements. 4ward Testing is set up to carry out any testing to the new specifications and have developed a new test rig which gives us larger testing capacity with increased accuracy of amplitude and elongation measurements.

4ward Testing’s wide range of experience has allowed us to become the only UK Notified Body for testing sealants, enabling us to become the complete solution for your hEN 15651 testing needs. We are frequently asked to test sealants to BS EN 15651 1-5:2012, BS 5212-3:1990, BS EN 14188-2, BS EN 14187-9:2006, ETAG 022, as well as the Federal Specification SS-S-200E, and for adhesives to the BS EN 12004:2007 +A1 2012 series of tests. As a Notified Body (2538) and UKAS Accredited Laboratory (0307) we are your trusted testing laboratory.

4ward Testing also provides extensive in-house environmental testing, including; artificial ageing via QUV, Xenon, Chambers -74°C to 100°C and 0-100% Relative Humidity, Ovens up to 350°C, Salt spray and Driving rain simulation.

As a Notified Test Laboratory (2538) and UKAS Accredited Laboratory (0307) we also have facilities for the physical testing of most construction materials including; rubbers, flooring, pipeline coatings, composites and membranes to name a few.
