We are delighted to have Medical Mask Testing (Mechanical Tests) on our scope of approved UKAS tests, to include:

Breathability – BS EN 14683:2019 AC:2020 Clause 5.2.3 Annex C
Splash Resistance – BS EN 14683:2019 AC:2020 Clause 5.2.4; ISO 22609:2004•
Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) – BS EN14683:2019+AC:2019 Section 5.2.5
Microbial Cleanliness – BS EN14683:2019+AC:2019 Section 5.2.5

*The above 4 tests are on Ukas schedule of accreditation.

We also offer a range of disinfectant testing focusing on the determination of the efficacy of biocidal/fungicidal products. The tests use a quantitative suspension of organisms listed in the specification for the evaluation of the bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics used in construction, food, industrial, domestic, institutional, and medical areas.

We test to the following standards (latest edition): EN ISO 846:1997, BS EN 1040, BS EN 1650, BS EN 1276, BS EN 1275, BS EN 13727, BS EN 13624, and BS EN 13697
