Standard: ISO 34-1 Tear Strength

Rubber or thermoplastic samples are torn apart, either with a small slit to start the tear or against the full width depending on which method is needed. The samples are placed in a tensile testing machine and the force measured whilst pulled apart. This test is commonly used in the aerospace industry for most silicone and rubber seals.

The testing that 4ward carried out was of a high standard, met deadlines and targets that were necessary and we were kept involved with regular updates as the testing progressed.
