Standard: ASTM D1000 Insulation Resistance

Insulation Resistance at high humidity (indirect electrolytic corrosion) of Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Coated Tapes Used for Electrical and Electronic Applications. This test accelerates the effects of electrolytic corrosion caused by the combination moisture, temperature and electrical currents. The insulation is subjected to a high voltage and high humidity and the resistance recorded to show the signs or amount of breakdown.
